Pros
I have always been treated with respect, and the experience I've gained working with the federal clients and partners is extremely valuable. PCI also makes it a priority to pay excellent salaries. My limited interactions with senior leadership have been great; they are always friendly and transparent.
Cons
Working at a remote location can feel isolating and makes it challenging to understand the company's culture. Also, staff are allocated to only one contract at a time, which means that if that contract gets terminated, you become extremely vulnerable to layoffs.

- As a tribal 8(a), PCI-GS is awarded sole source contracts with the federal government, allowing them to pay employees higher than similar firms do, because there really isn't much competition. - Out of pocket health insurance is minimal (BCBS with maximum out-of-pocket expenses of $250 per year--yes, you read that correctly--plus premiums). - Leadership is friendly and approachable - 5% match on 401(k) if you put in at least 6% of your salary
Cons
- When the contract you support ends, you might be out of a job, since this is a small business
