Pros

friendly people. nice office. working with big clients.

Cons

the domain is boring - printing. yeah...printing. how interesting can that be?? management is horrible. long hours because the code is a mess. Code is a mess. no conventions. there are couple of experts that knows it all - good example what happens when the code is horrible, you need "experts" (people who wrote the mess) to figure it out. They post job posting with the latest and greatest - TDD, Domain driven design, IOC and even ORM but it's a lie. you are never going to use those 'sexy' technologies. nobody knows what is ORM over there.

Pros

People: Working with everyone, in the Austin office was awesome. I miss them the most - felt like real friends. I enjoyed our foseball games, walks to the corner store, and our lunches out. Equipment: Generous monitors. Excellent desktop. Latest software. Tech stack: Optimal. NET shop. Products/Projects: Enough experienced players to delivery quality products. PNI was truly a great place to work - until it wasn't

Cons

Management: People don't quit their jobs, they quit their manager. Satellite Office: In comparison to what's going on at the headquarters; Perks, allowances, staying in-the-loop, ect were dismal. Time and time again, it just felt like the Austin office was more of an expense than a valued resource. Favoritism: Get that brown nose and then you get the raise and the fun projects. Pay: Not the best - see what the average is before accepting a gig here. The new gig pays 40% more. Imagine how long it would have taken to reach that salary? Perks: Where? I mean we get popcorn lol - we used to get snacks.
