Pros

Easy work, decent pay, employee friendships are easy to build, diverse work staff.

Cons

Managers are okay with subjecting employees to instance of ridicule and belittlement from customers; policies on work protocols are never up to date; some client servers are on routine maintenance which floods customers to the call centre to cover their blame; management will try to punish / reprimand you for taking personally accrued time off or for deciding not to come in when sick. The pay itself and benefits do not justify the mental battles that come with this job.

Pros

-Large kitchen -Free drinks and snacks -Special office events

Cons

- Employees can be assigned abnormal work schedules that interfere with their ability to have meals at a normal time. There is no work-life balance. - Poor work environment. Desks are too small and the office is noisy. - Need to deal with abusive customers daily. - Management imposes an unreasonable limit on how soon agents must finish a call, leaving agents very little or no time to assist customers who require more time to complete a payment and for agents to work on other tasks. - Very high volume of calls. - Agents are considered late even if they arrive in office 1 minute late, even for agents who live far away. - The pay and benefits are subpar for the stress that agents have to go through. - No option to work from home. - Agents have to work on statutory holidays - High staff turnover Paymentus is not a company that cares about their employees, so I don't recommend anyone to join.
