Pros

Nothing that really comes to mind

Cons

Low salary for what you have to deal with every day. Clients can be very abusive and unless they’re screaming at you, you have to put up with it. Management is not very good. You can get good benefits, but you also have to pay a lot for your portion every single month. You are expected to make targets of referrals to the investment people. That’s how they make their money. Your year end bonus is partly based on this. For the richest bank in Canada, RBC needs to do better with paying their staff, that have to deal with rude and abusive people every day. Life is just too short to take that kind of negativity every single day.
