Pros

It's a paycheck. A very meager paycheck, but it's still money. They allow for 10 minute breaks and lunch breaks, even though the state of Idaho has no legal requirement to supply them.

Cons

Insultingly low pay. It doesn't matter what kind of experience you have, this company will not pay you enough to live on. Raises are equally poor. Expect maybe 10 cents annually. Not even enough to keep you above the inflation rate. If you are young you'll likely be working for minimum wage. My depressingly low wage was $2 above the federal minimum, and this is a full time department supervisor position with 10 years in retail to back it up. Management rarely shows any kind of appreciation for any work done, yet they dispense the criticism liberally. This criticism is usually laced with implied threats. They have no problem constantly reminding you that if you don't like something, they have a stack of applications and you're easy enough to replace. It's the most demotivating work environment I've ever been in. Perks are nearly non-existent. You get a 10% discount on a purchase once a week. The insurance they offer is too expensive to afford. They offer no holiday pay. No incentive bonuses. You do get a weeks paid vacation after you've worked there a year. Your fellow employees will appear depressed and dejected. I don't work with a single person who I can honestly say they enjoy their job. Overtime is not allowed under any circumstances ever. Not even a minute. If you accidentally go over 40 hours anyway, management will likely roll the extra time over into the next week (Which is illegal.) then make you go home early another day. If you work here I recommend you keep track of your own time punches as there may be some shady time-clock massaging going on behind the scenes. Anyone working 40 hours a week should not have to take food stamps just to feed their small family, and even with food stamps they should not have to visit a food bank just so their family won't starve at the end of the month.

Pros

It is a low low low paycheck. There are no other pros to add about working for this company. None.

Cons

LOW LOW PAY. Not even inline with industry standards. They expect you to work 65 plus hours a week, salaried if you are in management. Upper Management could care less about you.
