Learning Opportunity that comes with working at a small company, you take on a lot of roles and develop a lot of skills that you wouldn't be exposed to otherwise. Gives you the initiative to be creative and take risks with the ideas that you come up with. Work is never the same two days in a row. Project-based with different challenge and tasks on a regular basis. If you're passionate about health and fitness, gives you an opportunity to be involved with the industry while also merging it with a passion for creative marketing.
Cons
It is a small team, so if you need the stimulation of a large work team or social network based on a large group of people you work with, this will not be the team for you. Being a small company emerging from its start-up phase, there's still a lot of self-motivated drive to learn by trial-and-error. There's not an extensive network of upper-level management to mentor or teach, so you must have in the inherent initiative to be motivated to be a self-teacher-and-learner.
