Pros

Let me come in late, do what I want, and take long lunches anytime.

Cons

Technical leads and managers have unrealistic goals and expectations for the low pay. The Management does not respect women except for unwelcome advances.

Pros

small start-up company environment, fast-paced, great products. Most of the people working there were great people, all working towards the same goal.

Cons

couldn't forecast sales very well, which lead to cutbacks in expenses and ultimately a RIF was taken. company became too marketing-focused instead of sales-focused.

Inconsistent work assignments. Changing priorities on a daily basis. No structure and very basic benefits.
