SouthBridge has a great atmosphere with hard-working employees. You can tell everyone currently working for the service really cares about helping people.
Cons
Some of the employees have trouble getting along with one another occasionally, but it never affects the service as a whole. It is common when having to work as a team. No matter who is working or what complications are occurring, the patients always get the best care.
Pay is good, above average. Health benefits are outstanding, especially for an EMS job. Company covers employees and dependents. There are opportunities to take on additional duties, especially in mentoring new hires. Training program is very thorough. Rigs and equipment are better than you will see at most services. Heavy emphasis on patient care, safety and customer service. Bunks provided for overnight shifts. Minimal posting of units. Southbridge tries to take care of their employees and generally has a good work environment.
Cons
Satellite station where crews are stationed is small but is central to response area
