Pros

Management: My position has me working with managers across departments and each has been in their own way: knowledgeable, passionate, helpful and effective communicators. They set a tone of positivity and problem solving. Resources: St. Mary's is the first non-profit I've worked for that gets you the support/tools you need to do your job in a reasonable time frame and with minimum friction (maintenance/tech support requests, software tools, education, office supplies). They will get you what you need to excel at your job.

Cons

As is common among non-profits, some team members can be slow to adopt new/modern processes and technology. But I've found management to be open to learning and improving.

Pros

Flexible hours and great people! The people that live there are so fun to work with and you have room to grow professionally.

Cons

Sometimes we are short staffed, but administration works hard to find good people to work here.
