I started at 7 am at times and left at 11 pm at times although some of this was optional overtime I took on, but you do have to work days, nights and weekends. Job can get very monotonous and very boring. Dealing with close to 150 inbound and outbound calls a day. Dealing with demographics and very aged accounts that are very difficult if not impossible to collect from and then being held accountable for stratospheric net fee goals that can lead to job termination and did for many reps. Automatic call dialer that has always been and will always be slower than a turtle in mud. Success is based more on luck and which client your handed and not individual skill.

Lots of systems to learn

No extra incentives such as merit raises etc

Management follow up (lack thereof), advancement opportunity limited, could promote from within more often to reduce turnover. Can go through supervisors every other month.

Learning new computer systems, but there is excellent training

Micromanaging with as maximum wait time allowed 2 minutes between calls. Unrealistic expected collection $$$ goals. Taking too many, or if any PTO will lead to write ups. No real money, possibly rigged large balance accounts sent to the tenor collectors, leaving crumbs for the rest. RISKY if script is not followed correctly, they will doc penalty out of your pay.

Executive management is very unprofessional. Unrealistic demands for the money you are paid. This company is a small family business that has grown too fast.
