I can't understand why. Ryan is one of the most compassionate business leaders I've worked for. I just recently found an email he sent me in 2019, just a couple months after I started and was going through a period of turndowns (people not accepting offers through my clients which is frustrating and stressful). He took time out of his busy day to email me, a very junior employee in an office across the country, saying he's been in my position before and reassured me that things would turn around and that he knew I was working hard and not to worry. In the 5 years since then, Ryan and other leaders in the company have supported me, my family and many others in the company, always knowing when I might need to talk through some frustrations or stresses on my desk. I have received some of the best mentoring I could imagine at this company, and appreciate how open they are. Any time I've gone to leadership about an idea or opportunity for change, they've been receptive and appreciated that I care about making the business the best it can be. I've been promoted multiple times and contribute part of that to the open, trust based dialogue I have with management.
