Pros

There are opportunities to advance, and there are incentives to stay and progress. There are benefits which include insurance coverage, paid time off and paid federal holidays.

Cons

There are down sides to working here. The hours are very strenuous, and the climate is always an amplified version of the weather outside. These factors can cause high tension levels, and poor attitudes.

We do work hard to improve all of our work environments, making them a productive and pleasant place to work. We're always looking for ways to improve operations while meeting strong customer demand, and continue to implement new policies that benefit employees and operations.

Pros

A lot of overtime. Still get a few gifted things.

Cons

Well overworked with zero chance of pay increase or promotion. 20% home life. Don't ever plan anything because chances are you will not make it. Raises are promised but never given. Advancement is a joke and if you do get the title no pay increase. The buyout has taken out 50% of the loyal employees due to lack of payment for the 200% increase in workload and still gets upset when you make 40 hours. 40 hours is frowned upon and management gets pissed when you make o.t. Used to be a career employee but Ill be cutting my losses and going somewhere else. Its bad when the old school head honchos suddenly resigned within a weeks notice if that. If you see Merfish or United Pipe just pass...

Hello, thanks for your feedback. Most of our drivers work on daily delivery schedules which take them home every night. Paid training, bonuses and other incentives are offered in order to keep our fleet and staff up-to-date with current DOT regulations. OT opportunities are frequent, and we are adding staff to match market demand. We’re always looking to address any concerns our team has, which has helped us build a strong workplace community. We’re looking forward to some amazing opportunities the United/Merfish merger will offer. All candidates will be able to meet with us and check out the operation that our team is so proud of!
