Pros

Being a TA is a great way to understand give back and help others with there academics. It also is a great way to further understand the topic at hand. I would highly suggest becoming a TA.

Cons

There are not many cons the work is part time and they are very understanding of your courses and encourage your academics first. A TA is a helper so whatever you can contribute they are grateful for.

Pros

Get to help other students learn a subject and truly master it yourself. Pay is reasonable, and hours are often self-selected.

Cons

Experience is heavily dependant on which class you TA for. If you work in the CS lounge, can have trouble finding space to set up.
