Not a good place to work

Pros

Good exposure to a regulated industry. Some good colleagues.

Cons

High stress levels, favouritism, bullying, manipulation, double-standards, no recognition, arbitrary and farcical project deadlines, no trust or respect shown to employees. They tend to mess people around. Performance reviews, exit interviews etc. are a box ticking exercise and any feedback received is useless. No interest in your personal or professional development. Expected to do huge amounts of unpaid overtime, whether needed or not (face-time in the office), this includes weekends. High levels of staff turnover.

Pros

Lenient dress code. Only 36.5hrs a week. The people are nice and fun to work with. You earn a lot of experience.

Cons

High stress, minimal recognition, low pay. The company is dealing with a lot of growing pains currently. Most employees aren't very satisfied.
