Pros
It’s a small company and you get the chance to make a positive impact on children’s lives. I’ve had very positive experiences with all upper management, including program director, residential, educational, clinical, kitchen & facility directors. Very nurturing place if you are honest with your intentions, go in ready to work and are ready to learn. Benefits are great. I truly love going to work everyday and that’s not something I’ve ever been able to say. There are also some very fun field day type events that you get to experience with the kids. CEO & Assistant CEO have good hearts and truly care about their students.
Cons
Negatives - staff turnover, leads to undertrained staff. Staff could benefit from increased knowledge in behavior de-escalation techniques & mental health conditions in general.
