Great First Experience in a Start-Up/Tech Industry

Pros

All companies have pros and cons, what I appreciate about I.AM+ is that the Company and Leaders are making honest efforts to ensure that the pros outweigh the cons. In the short time I've been a part of I.AM+, I have learned a great deal about start-up environments and challenges. I have been exposed to some really amazing technology and great people. The Company puts forth every effort to make sure our employees are treated very well when it comes to flexibility and work-life balance. Managers do not micromanage and give employees the opportunity to explore their creativity. Fast paced environment which changes direction often but I'm good with that... challenges people, keeps them learning and contributing. Constructive feedback, is always welcome, no matter good or bad or indifferent. With a positive and optimistic attitude we will make it, and we will make it BIG!

Cons

We have outgrown our parking and will soon out-grow our LA office. Various employees are frustrated and spreading negativity throughout the office and it's impacting our culture. It's okay to be frustrated, but it's not okay when complaints are not paired with possible solutions or with positivity focused agendas. This Company is a START-UP and I think people tend to forget that.
