iBeta is a small company, and as such often has sparse opportunities for advancement. Employees can typically move a few rungs up the "corporate ladder" but at some point or another reach a point where there just isn't the volume of work or the overhead space for another position. As such, employees are left having to wait until either their bosses move on to another position or another company. Although many see this as a net negative, I can't help but see this as a reflection of how interested or invested these managers are in their company. Does it frustrate people to feel as though there's no opportunity for advancement? Absolutely, but in a small company there are only so many "rungs of the corporate ladder."
As a smaller company iBeta employees are often wearing multiple hats. Although this isn't a problem in and of itself it does mean that by balancing priorities certain things can fall short of being fully or quickly addressed. In my experience I've seen times where problems persist longer than they otherwise should, but when solutions are implemented they typically not only address the specific problem, but the instances that bring about those specific problems.
