The Global Food Team, who is accustomed to spending time with our customers and brokers are all “locked in” to their remote offices. This is certainly challenging but, it’s nowhere near the challenge your teams have been facing with health, safety and the many changes in production, scheduling, etc. Everyone on the GFT recorded a quick thank you to the front line employees to express their sincere thanks and appreciation. We look forward to returning to Germantown and celebrating the great work all of you are doing!

In 2019, Gehl Foods put focus on continuous improvement throughout our facilities, completing seven area 5S events and six Kaizen events! Each event takes employees, both area experts and new eyes, as they identify areas for improvement and set sustainable processes. But this is just the beginning, we're keeping up our momentum in 2020 and will continue to make Gehl Foods a great place to work!

This past Friday, we participated in the FaB Wisconsin's Farm Factory Fork event at Concordia University. What a great opportunity to share the many career opportunities within the Food & Beverage Industry with high school students! Emily & Josh from our Quality department and Sherry from HR were in attendance. Concordia has recently added a MS in Product Development in Food/Beverage.
