We have moved our Los Angeles office! We have moved from Monrovia to Pasadena into a new beautiful and big facility!
On the morning of April 26, 2023, Xencor was honored to welcome local dignitaries, including Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo and LA County’s 5th District Supervisor Kathryn Barger, and representatives from the greater Los Angeles life sciences community, as Bassil ‘officially’ opened our new laboratories and headquarters to the public. After Mayor Gordo and Supervisor Barger provided their remarks, both participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Xencor also received a certificate from the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles, presented by Supervisor Barger, and one from State Senator Hon. Anthony J. Portantino, presented by District Representative Dominick Correy. Attendees also included representatives from across the Greater LA life science ecosystem, including Caltech, PCC, UCLA, LLS, Biocom, Bioscience LA, among others; some groups associated with the new facility, like DPR, Gensler, and JLL, among others; PRIMECAP, our largest non-passive shareholder; and representatives from partner Caris.
Xencor’s XmAb technology and protein engineering expertise have enabled a broad portfolio of clinical-stage drug candidates, which we and our partners are investigating across many therapeutic areas. Our exceptional talent is focused on efficiently using our resources and strong financial position to advance the most promising clinical-stage programs, as well as the next wave of XmAb programs.
