Job Training

My job training was adequate but could have been better.

They have training but its not job specific. Some positions just throw you in expecting you to know things like you have been at ACC for years and forget that you’re new.

on one is really there to help you out at this point everyone is for themselved

Tutors aren't paid or incentivized to audit courses in order to expand their knowledge and skills

The adjunct job training was a (voluntary) mandatory meeting right before classes started. You are also given a mentor, but the mentor only provides general tips. My mentor was actually really good, so I found that to be the most rewarding part of any training or supervising.
