The AECOM Health Insurance plans are standard in the industry; nothing noteworthy to add to this appraisal. Neither positive or negative.

It's a high deductible plan and AECOM contributes almost nothing to the health savings account. Any medications that are prescribed are not covered until a $3000 deductible is met. There are some that are considered maintenance drugs but the list is short and some maintenance drugs are not on the list.

Very expensive, especially if you are covering your family. Could be upwards of 5k per year, just to buy the coverage. AECOM offers a HDHP with an HSA, so not only are you paying $200 per pay check, you have to pay between $100-$200 per doctors visit until you meet your $7500 deductible. Awful.

Very expensive, high deductibles, high premiums. They require you to do more and more to get it each year, then give you less and less benefit, continually passing more and more of the cost onto the employees.

They keep trying to reduce cost every year, so now employee health insurance premium is so ridiculous, might be better off buying health insurance on your own.
