Not a problem as long as you get your work done. Some managers better about this than others but overall given the horrible traffic in Austin I've never heard of anyone really having an issue if they want to work from home occasionally.

They do offer work from home for some workers, based on role/function/manager discretion. The primary reason for this is to reduce cost to the company.
