Not many options, and out of pocket fees are high. I've already paid over $4000 in out of pocket expenses this year (because my Aetna plan only covers 80% of in-network expenses after I hit my deductible). I'm pregnant so expect I'll hit the $9000 out of pocket maximum by the end of the calendar year. Definitely is not competitive with other tech company packages in the San Francisco Bay Area. Lots of services are covered, but you'll also pay for a lot of them between your deductible and the 20% co-insurance, and that's assuming you stay in-network. I would expect better coverage from a company with such a young employee base.

When we switched to Cigna things became more difficult and restricted. I have never used the Blue Cross offering.

The health insurance was standard. I was not overly impressed or disappointed when i reviewed the package.

Good - Good network of hospitals
Bad - No fixed copay. Ends up paying amount for each doctor visit
