Company contribution is low, high deductibles annually

Blue Cross and Blue Shield is a good insurance company, however the rate for the top, lowest deductible, plan was very expensive for a company the size of Acosta.

This is a good company to work for. They pay pretty well. They offer good benefits. I have been with the company for about 3 years now. Going on 4.

Good health insurance and cost is very affordable

In 2019 to keep insurance costs down, they went to a $3000 deductible for an individual health plan. I doubt that many people working for Acosta have that kind of cash available to them in the event of a major medical incident.

The health savings account is nice. Acosta is one of those places where you wonder what the catch is when you get something free.
