The company contributed between 8-12% of your salary based on business results (deferred profit sharing) plus 5% company contribution, plus will match up to 3% of what you contribute. That means you could get get 20% of your salary deposited into your 401k per year! It adds up quickly.

401k is a great perk for altria. they have a standard 401k match and an oustanding 401k drop without need for employee contribution. This is based on annual company performance.
