Disability Insurance

Short-term disability is another program that protects you financially. It replaces 100 percent of your income for up to eight weeks in the event that you can't work due to an injury, illness or personal health condition. After eight weeks, it replaces 70 percent of your income until the 90th day of a continuous absence. Short-term disability provides income protection from the eighth day to the 90th day of a continuous absence. All full-time and some part-time employees are immediately enrolled at no cost.  Long-term disability plan is available if you are unable to work due to injury, illness or personal health condition while actively employed. Our long-term disability plan will provide 60 percent pay replacement starting on the 91st day of a continuous absence. Full-time and some part-time employees are immediately eligible for long-term disability.
