Sick Leave

sick leave is easily taken. no sick notes or things like that.

No sick day for hourly employees, you have to use your PTO. Salaried employees get sick days and Cannot use PTO for sick days.

people are treated like adults so sick days are not a problem

Outside of PTO w accumulation

Sick days are acceptable, as long as you have a doctor's note you can combine several sick days together. Sick days are merged with PTO, so sick days typically eat up your vacation days, if you have a health issue occasionally.

Employees accrue a small number of hours every pay period for sick time. It takes a long time to accrue a day or two. If you don't have enough sick time for your illness you cannot use vacation time (exempt employees).

You can Work from home or take day off whenever you need it

It is part of your ptos. But depending on your manager, it can be flexible.

All you have to do is call your manager to let them know you are sick. They are understanding.
