Typical 401K plan. The matching dollars vest immediately (no waiting years for the matching funds to truly become yours). Your first two years at the company you can get a match of 3% of your salary (50% match on up to 6% of salary contributed to 401K), then in the 3rd-5th year you get up to a 4.5% of salary match (75% match on up to 6%), and after the 5th year you can get a match on the full first 6% of your salary that you contribute to the 401K. Note, they base the match off the first 6% of gross salary contributed to the 401K in each paycheck, NOT on an annual basis. That means you can't front-load all your 401K contributions early in the year and still get the full match, instead you must spread contributions equal to at least 6% of your salary out over the entire year to get the maximum matching contribution.
