Sick Leave

Sick days are included as part of paid time off which is unlimited.

Ascend has a very flexible paid time off policy for all employees. It's all in one bucket - sick, vacation, personal time - you take what you need.

Any time employees needed some rest or time off, it was granted graciously without question

You share sick days with vacation time. Only 120 hours per year. Good luck not getting sick when those with children eat through this and then come in sick because they are out of hours. Only salaried management ever really takes anything resembling a vacation, and they are so overworked that they do this once per year or once every other year.
