Higher employee costs and decreased benefits in recent years

Very strong medical plan with two offerings (an HDHP and EPO).

I can't say anything bad about the benefits at Atkins. Health Insurance is expensive wherever you go

Comparable to other similar companies

I have been able to find excellent providers in-network, and almost all of my existing providers from previous plans are included in the network. I haven't had any issues with refusal to cover, though I also haven't had any tremendously expensive health issues. Employee contribution is comparable to the state employee health plan. A bit more expensive for monthly fees, but significantly cheaper with respect to some co-pays (urgent care, for example). Covers all Well Child visits. Company also offers health care FSA (administered through ADP) and health savings account options. It's not a deluxe benefits package but I think it's reasonable and comprehensive.
