Underwriters in any Lansing-based underwriting branch benefit from a large number of associates which warrants formal training classes. Trainers are top-notch and well-versed in their fields. Associates will be mentored for a number of weeks following completion of training, which further develops their underwriting abilities with the company. Associates at smaller underwriting branches out of state will have less formal training programs and one-on-one training situations.
