PTO is about 5 days for the first year, 10 days for the second, and 15 for 2-7, etc. PTO cannot go negative and you must take unpaid time off otherwise. The accrual is also not per paycheck but according to a schedule and if the PTO wasn't awarded I don't think it is on the final paycheck if you are laid off/terminated.

Your accrued vacation was used if you were late to work, or had a doctor's appointment, or were home sick, and they played it off as if you actually had sick leave. Worst I've ever seen.

For new employees, the plan is not healthy. For long-term employees, they dont even use all their time. PTO needs a better balance.
