Effective January 1, 2017 the company moved from a tiered plan to a flat 4%. There is talk that they may freeze the plan as the reduction was just the first step down.

Avnet's pension plan replaces a 401K match. Instead of matching a percentage of employees 401k, Avnet puts that money in a pension fund.
