Our Diversity and Inclusion Committee works in parallel to the Human Resources team who is also dedicated to furthering our D&I efforts. The committee presents a bias training at every Onboarding session to discuss the different types of biases and how we can minimize them. The training fosters an open dialogue so we can rise above prejudice to make everyone feel welcome. The committee has also been hosting a quarterly lecture series dedicated to different Diversity and Inclusion topics. These webinars are not only for Axis employees, but are promoted among the security industry as a whole to give everyone the chance to learn about D&I. Past topics include: LGBTQ+ in the Workplace, Cultural differences, and Personal Branding. Their many efforts have been realized by seeing an increase in the percentage of female employees we have working for us since the committee started in 2017.
