If you like to eat, you’ll love it at Axis! Our colleagues in Sweden introduced us to the idea of “fika,” which is a Swedish coffee break with pastries. We have our own version of “fika” here: Bagel Friday. Every Friday, we order dozens of bagels and muffins so we can enjoy each other’s company over breakfast. Having a quick snack is a great way for employees to step away from their work and catch-up with each other. In other offices around the country, there are always delicious snacks to be had. In Texas, for example, you may hear the blender whirring in the afternoon as the team enjoys a fruit smoothie. In Ft. Lauderdale, a new shipment of healthy snacks is delivered every week! We’ve also added Popcorn Wednesday to the mix in Massachusetts: Just follow your nose to the smell of butter coming from our breakroom.
