Vacation & Paid Time Off

I'd give it a zero if I could. Having had 5 weeks of paid leave for more than 15 years I was offered 2 weeks at Aztec. After some discussion I was told 2 weeks plus a week of PTO and my direct manager was not a "micro manager" I could take time off when I needed it as long as I informed her. Ok, so I'm going to call and tell you that I need the afternoon off to see my kid's game? Sounds like micro managing to me.
