They match 25% of the 25% for the first year of your 401k. It takes years to reach the 100% match which is only 25%. You will not be saving very much for retirement here, because they also pay on the low end compared to their competition. Most are barely able to contribute. My advice is learn a trade and get out of retail if you can.

The employer match could be a bit more generous, but it is easy to understand. there is also an ESOP on top of the 401(k)
