One might expect that costs for an employee working for a large healthcare system would be less than most...However, it is probably pretty standard compared to companies that are 10,000+ employees. $100 monthly premiums for covering a family - those days are over everywhere. The network is difficult to navigate, getting a specialist is cumbersome, and there is nothing easy about consuming healthcare with Banner as an employee. Billing consistency is extremely frustrating.

The coverage is decent but you have to stay in Banner Network which seems to have a really hard time getting patients in and are frequently in bad areas. It is like corporate ACCCHS.

Health insurance is based on banner only not on any other providers and if they cant help you it will be considered out of network even if they cant do the job.

The best part of the insurance is some medications are free when done through the Banner Family Pharmacy. The worst part of the medical insurance is if you are out of town or out of network, it will cost you.
