It's standard, they have contribution matching if you put 6% or higher into your contributions

One of the same two people who founded Benefitfocus also owns the 401k provider.... To say the website is lacking is an understatement. Add to that the fact that the company solely offers a pretax or "traditional" 401k option while a significant portion of the work force is <30 yrs old and it is clear you are not taking this job for the retirement plan. Make the minimum contribution to match and start your roth elsewhere!

There is 50% match on the first 3% of contributions, you have to be there 5 years to fully vest. There is no loan options with the 401k plan.

The 401k plan does not offer great options to select from and it takes 6 years to be fully vested in the plan. The company does a match on 3%; they automatically enroll new associates in the plan for 6% of their pay.

The 401k matching is low and you have to be employed for 6 years before you are vested.
