Pto is approved almost all the time

Employees that are below Director level lost access to ROWE and are now in a standard accrual system based on 40 hour work week. Many IT employees work 60+ hours per week and are on call 24x7. This is leading to burnout amongst key groups.

Start combining sick and PTO next year. seems discouraging for many that need to make a choice between vacation and recovering from an illness

Theoretically accrue up to 15 days time off. In practice if you take a day off you still have to do the work by working extra other days. Usually expected to attend meetings and engage via email or teams even on days off.
