High deductible plan or PPO (expensive). One plan for all employees over all states.

PTO:
everyone gets 4 weeks up front, but it sounds like it will change next year where you have to accrue per month. No sick leave. No extra vacation for tenured employees
Equity Incentive:
I believe only exempt employees get an equity incentive, but it is only on paper and is worthless unless Blue ever becomes public (which we were told is not likely)
Pay and bonuses:
Used to be that all non-exempt had to work 45hours a week, this changed in 2020. All employees only have to work 40 hours a week. This is a contention point for hourly workers as they have agreed to work for Blue based on their yearly salary (based on 45 hrs a week). Management keeps hammering on hourly rate, but these folks agreed to a salary based on 45 hours. Pay increases have been around 3% per year, if you meet expectations on your performance review, if not no increase. They use a bell curve to determine who falls under, so staff are forced to fall under even if they actually meet expectations. Bonuses are only for managers and above. Haven't heard of anyone else getting a bonus.
Snacks & Lunches:
Free snacks in kitchens -bananas, apples, kind bars etc. No bulk snacks with COVID
Free lunches used to be abundant, but now you have to be in a 5 hour meeting to get a free lunch
Other:
You can bring your pet to work. During the summer there are a lot of get together s (not during COVID). Company has been really supportive of COVID victims. Pets are allowed at the office and a dog kennel is available. Food trucks every day. Room for children, but it is not supervised. Lots of community groups you can participate in.

Adjusted to keep pace with government changes and regs. Attentive to cost per family, incentive for healthy habits (non-smokers), many plan options for everyone from families with kids to singles, HSA options. Still paying attention to the benefits like a small company should.

Very high cost compared to my last employer... Same provider, same network, but the cost is 50% more and deductibles are 400% more.

Out of pocket expenses can get out of control quickly, even with their “cadillac” ppo plan. Family plan is most expensive I’ve seen at any employer I’ve worked for.
