Standard health insurance with differing plans to choose

Their benefits make you pay more for your medical

It used to be the best in the industry, but they have lowered their standards due to other industry peers not offering as well. Basically Boeing is cutting costs to compete and health insurance benefits are being reduced. Still a good plan compared to peers.

Getting worse over time, in terms of coverage and premiums.

Strong health insurance, good for the area.

The changes recently added have most employees paying some paltry amount towards their health insurance. However, there is now an opt-out option that would let someone save their money if they so choose and shop for their own benefits. It is extremely unlikely that anyone can find the same benefits for anywhere close to the same cost. Most employees at other companies pay 2-5X more monthly for much worse benefits. It's still a benefit, even it has recently slightly eroded from what it used to be.

Great service to all employees!

The health insurance plans offered at Boeing were quite reasonably priced and included low co-pays and low deductibles. The plan option that I chose allowed me to keep all of my natural minded care providers.
