About $5000 a year with a grade requirement (C undergrad and B grad). 18 month commitment. Can also be used for technical courses/certifications and not just degree programs.

Only $5000 per employee per year is given; and if you leave the firm within approximately one year of receiving this benefit, you have to repay it.

talk with management - some managers are not supportive

BAH claims that as part of your compensation package, you should get about $5k of tuition assistance (that includes certification boot camps and such) per year. However, the hoops you have to go through in order to get reimbursed is crazy, and that doesn't even consider IF your upline managers will approve it. I've gotten a lot of "well, we're trying to be more lean, so we're going to have to wait..." and "let me float this past senior management" for the past several years and still haven't been able to take a class. You also are expected to pay it back if you leave the company within 6 months, and for 2 years after that, your payback amount is pro-rated. While that is somewhat standard, it's often less hassle and easier for employees to just pay for their own training and see if they can deduct part of it from their taxes the following year.

Paid for my certifications and masters degree

They only pay $5,000 a year and if you take any of it, you have to work a year and half before the debt is erased (one year for half the debt). Its ok, better than nothing, but not the best.
