Job Training

Depends on manager, some encourage employees to attend training and conferences

Initially great, later was horrible. I was supposed to receive 3 weeks of new product training, and there was good reason for that amount of time. Then, a week of transition with a peer to help me. They knocked that down to a single week, though, since we weren't long to be with the company after all. I pulled through, and was reasonably capable, despite the smattering of training my poor trainer was able to cram. It was great co-workers that helped me through the brunt of it.

Learning modules are fairly easy but the employee needs to take it upon themselves to learn the tech and how to sell it.
