Since day 1 of hiring you have 3 weeks of vacations ( full time )

It is very difficult to understand how pension plan is calculated and how valuable the benefit really is to you. Human Resources is not helpful in explaining details, and 3rd party provider will not talk to you until you are partially vested, so it is a "mystery" benefit for most employees, and it requires longevity to be significantly beneficial.

Bose is one of the few companies that still offers a pension.

Bose retirement is better for those with 5+ years of service.

Pension plan offered. 7 yes for vesting. 30 years for full pension

Only after your seven year anniversary you are eligible

Pension is a great benefit

The retirement plan includes the 401k and the pension. I assume the pension is why they don't offer a large matching donation to the 401k
