Sick Leave

We provide paid sick and safe time provided under a mandatory sick and safe time leave law, including Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST for Exempt associates) and Paid Sick Leave Plus (PSL+ for Non-Exempt associates).

Paid Sick and Safe Time: Eligible exempt associates will have eighty (80) hours of PSST frontloaded on hire and on January 1st of each year thereafter, or as required by individual sick leave jurisdictions, and the associate may carry over up to eighty (80) hours of PSST from year to year.

Paid Sick Leave Plus: All non-exempt associates (outside of California) are eligible for PSL+. (California non-exempt associates are covered by the exempt Paid Sick and Safe Time Policy.) PSL+ is granted at the beginning of each Benefit Year in the amount of 72 hours. To the extent allowed by law, PSL+ is granted on a pro-rata basis upon hire based on the full-months of employment remaining in the Benefit Year.
