The company line is this: you'll work here, in our offices, at the times we require, AND YOU"LL LIKE IT! Now sit in your cube and do your work! And give me that red stapler!
But we also understand that there will be times that it makes more sense for you to work from home. So what happens? It could be this: you work hard. You develop a relationship with your co-workers and manager as being trustworthy and loyal. You put out good work on a consistent basis. You need to work from home on occasion for some reason. We'll figure it out. You take care of us, and we'll take care of you. It's how we roll.
