Unlimited Sick Days.

Again, I was not a full time employee so I was not able to take advantage of the benefits package.

USA no longer have sick days you're told it's unlimited but you actually can't take any. After 3 days you need to have a Dr note

Their policy of unlimited sick leave rocked

If you have a doctors excuse, it is still considered unexcused if you did not give them prior notice.

The particular facility that I worked at (not sure of policy within other facilities) offered a cushion of 50 hours or unpaid sick time within a fiscal year. The pitfall of this is that once your 50 hours are gone, you are considered an attendance risk and will become subject to disciplinary action up to termination.

No limit for sick days that can be taken per year.

If you are sick, take a day - no sick bank. Although they do monitor "casual sick" and I am sure nip abusers use; for most non-abusers, it is nice.
