The discount is okay, but there are a lot of restrictions and they are not great at communicating how to take advantage of the discount.

Amount of discount increases with tenure. Eligibility is after 90 days of employment. First year is $1000. After that the amount increases and included family (however if you use for family, you need to wait until the next year to use it for yourself again).
