There is always the promise of a bonus, but the bonus is not based on personal performance. You can be amazing at your job, but because of senior management's decision to open another showroom you will not receive a bonus.
Be wary of promotions that offer a bonus percentage as a supplement for additional salary. You will never see a full bonus paid out.
